So I'm so foul that my entire family has left me for the day! And I don't even know what to do with myself!!! I'm sure no one would care to be around me with the mood I'm in right now! It could be hormonal or i guess it really could've started Thursday night and escalated from there! I had Alive After 5 at the store and stood for 5 hours on my feet and I'm telling you the pain is rivaling my wedding night regarding how sore my feet STILL are two days later!
Then as I go to take Lawson to school yesterday, the car wouldn't start! I know that no one has time for their car not starting but I really didn't! I was supposed to be at the school and volunteer that morning with class pictures. This is also a reason I've vowed to myself never to be room mom because EVERY TIME I have to be at the school for something - I'm late or can't make it or whatever. I know they all probably think I'm some sort of flake up there. Anyway, I call Robby and I'm charging the battery by myself (while saying some cuss words along the way!) I finally get the darn thing started and get up to school a little late but still in time to be helpful to the photographer who was SO SWEET! She was just so thankful I was there to help! Which shouldn't the SCHOOL always act like that to any mother who is volunteering her time? I had little man with me because he was going to play at a friends house and we were going to do the exchange in the car pool line but since I got there late - we missed them so I just kept him with me. Anyway, the photographer says "Christy, can you go get the first class - it's the 18-24 month class down so and so hall" so I go to get the class and needless to say it's the two teachers that little man had earlier this year when I had to pull him out because he couldn't stop crying! (keep in mind he NEVER cries at bible study or church nursery on Sundays but for some reason he cried everytime I dropped him off with these ladies!) So I get the assistant teacher and we have the kids (basically two year olds) walking them outside to get their pictures taken....we run into the head teacher and she makes this face like what in the world is she doing here? So she asks "Are you here to help with the class?" which I'm thinking back why in the world would I be here to help with your class? but I answer "I'm here to help with the pictures"....now pay attention - she says back to me "Well, if you are here to help with the pictures, she is set up outside so I'd go up there and see how you can be helpful." Please add all the tone to that when you read it because I SWEAR that's what she said to me!!!! I had had it that morning so I replied "I did that and she told me to come down here and get your class which is what I'm doing!!!" WHATEVER!!!
So then that little class was getting their picture taken and the photographer tells me to go get the next class - Kindergartners - so I do. As I'm bringing them up the stairwell with their teacher - here comes the baby class that just finished down the stairwell back to their classroom - The kindergarten teacher says "everyone stand to the side so the little ones can get through" and the Assistant Teachert (that little man used to have) is up there and says "The helper should be helping us back down to our class but I guess she came to get your class instead.." WHAT THE HECK!!!!!! I'm the helper she's referring to and I'm not there to help her!!! I'm there to help the photographer. So now I just wonder do these two biyatches hate ME or are they that rude to every parent up there? I'm so fed up with little things at that school and I want to say something but don't want to be the complaining parent -
Then as I'm walking to the car and trying not to cry a painter calls to me give me a quote to paint our rental house. Yes, we just kicked our lady out since she hadn't paid March or April - we were like PLEASE JUST GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole thing is frustrating and very personal to me since it's where we brought our babies home....needless to say, it needs alot of work again and they left us some pot in the kitchen drawer....I guess that's where her money was going? WHATEVER!
Just a long long day and Robby had a crappy day as well. Got home late, kids are whining, ordered pizza, kids are whining, he had to go BACK to the rental house to mow the lawn, kids are whining, trying to get them bathed and dressed, kids are whining, you know the story -
This morning I'm still foul - robby says it's oozzing from every bone in my body so he took the boys to Touch a Truck and I'm here all alone. Except it doesn't feel like a good thing as some might think! It seems like I've been abandoned! I'm going to take a shower and figure out what the heck to do with my day - I really just want someone to rub my feet for an entire hour!
It's got to be hormones, right?
